Sydney Olympics 2000

You may have noticed the Olympic flag flying on Saturday. Last week marked 20 years since the Opening Ceremony of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
RPAYC had a large representation of members who gave their time on the water both inshore & offshore with a team of 35 volunteers. Some of the original volunteers got together last Friday for an informal COVID safe catch up. Congratulations to all involved.

Mosquito Cup

The Heritage Committee are seeking some assistance in regards to the Mosquito Cup which was made in 1856. A photo of the cup with its lid (pictured opposite) was apparently taken in the Rowe Street Premises some time ago. The lid is currently missing and the committee would love to hear from anyone who may know of its whereabouts or recall where and when they last saw it? Please email archives@rpayc.com.au if you can be of any assistance.

Chemical CleanOut

It's time for a Chemical CleanOut!
This Saturday 26 & Sunday 27, the NSW Environment Protection Authority will be holding a Household Chemical CleanOut event.
Take your old or unwanted household chemicals along to the Warringah Aquatic Centre and they will dispose and/or recycle them for you, for free. Click HERE for more details.
