1. CapeTownMagazine / WESGRO “This Is Your Heritage Day Campaign"
Please respond by the close of business TODAY (Wednesday) to register to participate in a webinar with more details on the inaugural This Is Your Heritage Day Campaign made possible by ​WESGRO a joint initiative between the digital platform CapeTownMagazine.com and Wesgro. This will be a 14 day campaign showcasing our regions and towns along with experiences across the province. The aim is to create regional awareness by featuring the regions and sharing its untold heritage stories. Read more here
 
2. Airlink Survey:  Johannesburg / George route consideration
Airlink is considering adding a Johannesburg/George route to their existing Cape Town/George Route, and are doing research as to the viability of the route.  Please participate in this and also share the link to anyone you know who could contribute value by completing the survey. Read more here
 
3. GRIFF – 48 Hour Film Race
This year’s Garden Route International Film Festival will be taking 21 September to 11 October.  Forming part of that will be the Garden Route 48 Hour Film Race which will take place between 25 and 27 September.  To participate in this to conceptualise and create your own movie, please read the information shared to us and visit the event website.  Note that the online closing date for registration to participate in this is 23 September.  Read more here
 
4. Tourism Month Photo Challenge flyer
Please see and share the flyer promoting the Photo Challenge for the greater Knysna area.  Please encourage your visitors, family and friends to take photos, participate and post these on our social media pages between 24 – 27 September 2020.  Read more here
 
5. Jerusalema Dance Challenge - reminder to share footage
Per our previous newsletter communications, please share to Events@VisitKnysna.co.za the link to your Jerusalema Dance Footage that can be incorporated into a snippet on challenges that took place within the greater Knysna area.
 
6. Information sharing to Visit Knysna
Please remember to share happenings, photos, events, etc with our office for us to better promote the greater Knysna area.  Information, promotions and event updates should be sent to Info@VisitKnysna.co.za;   media and photo information shared to Media@VisitKnysna.co.za.  Our tag for our social media pages (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) is @Visit Knysna
