TCV Weekly News: 17th September 2020

Kia ora koutou

Morning All!
A busy week for me as usual. I have been enjoying the sunshine and
It's nice to feel like we are in spring.

I am looking forward in the upcoming weeks to be working hard on new blog content and Facebook material coming into October.

Our next Network meeting is 12th October 2020, 12.30pm - 1.30pm in the GDC Council Chambers. We hope to see you there!
It is encouraging for me to see our numbers increasing this year.  We are currently averaging 19 attendees per meeting including apologies. This motivates me to do the work that I do and inspires me for the future of the network.
Thank you to all those people who join us!

As to the Technology for the community workshop I spoke to on Monday details follow:

22nd October 2020
4pm -6pm
at Tairawhiti Technology Trust in Kaiti Mall

This workshop is going to be an opportunity to discuss needs of the local community, services and businesses surrounding the topic of technology. It will be a session which will inform future workshops and tutorials that will hopefully address the needs of the group.

Examples of future workshops could be:
- Mailchimp
- Community Newsletters
- Social Media engagement
- Website design and development

If you don't have a business continuity plan or are currently making or editing yours, business.govt.nz and Resilient Organisations have guides and resources for you.
