Support Our Work
The Genetic Engineering and Society (GES) Center at NC State integrates scientific knowledge and diverse public values in shaping the futures of biotechnology. GES serves as an international hub of interdisciplinary research, engaged scholarship, and inclusive dialogues by examining the technical, ethical, and societal dimensions of the products and impacts of biotechnology.
To ensure our independence, the GES Center does not accept funds from private-sector entities selling biotechnology products or services, or from advocacy groups that take strong public positions for or against biotechnology.
Therefore, your support is crucial for us to continue to be a balanced and trusted source of information and scholarship and to expand our efforts in public engagement, responsible innovation, and research to inform future decisions about genetic engineering.
Thank you!
