Major City Development Code Changes for Bend

Significant building and development code changes are on the horizon for the City of Bend including changes to minimum parking requirements, new microunit housing (please see earlier SCNA newsletters for more information on microunits), and significant changes from the State of Oregon via House Bill 2001.

Now is the time to educate yourself about these changes and to submit public comments to your elected officials.

The Bend City Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed code on Oct 7th. For an agenda and more information about how to participate or view that meeting please visit the City Council section of the City of Bend's website here.

Please visit the Land Use page on the SCNA website for more information on how to participate in public hearings or provide written comments.
