Coming Soon: Land Owner Transparency Registry Forms for Filing
Customers are advised that, following the recent approval of regulations on September 20, 2020, work is underway to adapt the Land Owner Transparency Registry (LOTR) filing forms. The completed forms are expected to be available over the next few weeks on landtransparency.ca.
In the interim, legal practitioners are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the Land Owner Transparency Act (LOTA) and the Land Owner Transparency Regulations for preparing LOTA filings.
Specifically, the contents of the transparency declarations and transparency reports can be found in the following sections of LOTA:
- Part 1 - Definitions, Interpretation and Application: sections 7, 8 and 9;
- Part 2 – Transparency Declarations and Transparency Reports: sections 10, 11, 18 – 24.
