Music This week the children have been learning about body percussion. We have spent some time listening and appraising different types of body percussion routines and experimenting with different sounds and techniques. We will soon be starting a 3-week project, which will see the children develop their body percussion techniques whilst improvising and composing. Our introduction sessions this week have been very successful and great fun! We have two Body Percussion achievement awards which go to Theo from Mrs Allan’s class and Poppy from Miss Gmiterek’s class. Have a look at their performances.

Traffic Free Tuesdays We started our walks on Tuesday this week, in conjunction with #trafficfreetuesday. We continue to do this to raise awareness about air pollution and traffic in Gibraltar as well as the many health benefits that walking brings. We would like to thank the RGP, who escorted us from the frontier, making sure it was a safe walk for all. We will continue with this every Tuesday but also urge others to try and walk to school more often to help raise the awareness of pollution and traffic on our roads. A special mention to Miss Grech and Miss McNally, who walked from Europa Point to school several times this week.
Parents: please look for an email from school regarding Nasal Flu Vaccinations for children. This is a free Government initiative and we urge you to read the information. Check the letter bank on our website.
