15,000 Certified Learners!
We are excited to announce another milestone in our history books… 15,000 citizens have now been officially certified as Carbon Literate. As a result, over 30,000 actions have been pledged by individuals, organisations and communities, directly reducing our carbon emissions.

The Local Authorities Carbon Literacy Toolkit launched at an online event on the 29th of September. As part of this, there was a discussion between our Phil Korbel, and Naomi Wise, Sustainability Officer at Winchester City Council. It was brilliant to hear such a positive personal experience from a trainer using the newly released LA Toolkit in practice.

With the move to online learning and distance delivered training, we thought that the Greater Manchester Green Summit 2020 would be a good opportunity to showcase the brilliant work that some of our partner organisations are doing.

Our friends at Cumbria Action for Sustainability are currently recruiting two new colleagues to help deliver the most extensive and exciting climate change programme ever seen in Cumbria - including a program of Carbon Literacy training.
