Champion

Albert Karam
Facilities and Operations Engineer

If you work at Stanford Redwood City, you’ve probably seen Albert Karam walking around, adjusting the mechanical window shades or ensuring that space temperatures and lighting levels are optimal for all zones. As a Facilities and Operations Engineer for the RWC campus, Albert works on projects to help improve and maintain the Redwood City campus. He has been instrumental in building commissioning, capturing energy savings through daylighting, providing building system information to multiple teams and stakeholders, and automating green building features and schedules to enhance occupant comfort. Albert enjoys using analytical tools to find new ways to increase savings for Stanford while reducing our carbon footprint.
