ERA

The NC ERA Alliance is  partnering with VoteEquality.US, which is taking its glammed-up ERA RV throughout North Carolina in September, October and November. The RV will make stops in cities and at college campuses to promote the ERA and educate voters about a near future that will include the 28th Amendment as part of the U.S. Constitution. The RV tour will travel to 11 other non-ratified states in the South and West before Nov. 3. VoteEquality.US is a new national organization that grew out of VaRatifyERA, which shepherded Virginia to ratification in January.

The NC tour started in Rocky Mount on Sunday, Sept. 27th and is moving west from there, stopping in Raleigh, Durham, Boone, Durham, Rock Hill and Florence SC, with stops in Georgia before heading back to more cities in SC and NC. Click on the button below for the updated tour schedule and to see the other towns included on the tour.

Denny McGuire, past AAUW NC Public Policy Chair, is helping ERA NC-Alliance publicize this state wide tour in cooperation with VoteEquality.US.
