Jupiter SHS Clinic: Updated Hours

Beginning Monday, September 28, the Jupiter campus clinic of FAU Student Health Services will operate on the following schedule:
Monday – Closed
Tuesday – 8:30am-5:30pm
Wednesday – Closed
Thursday – 8:30am-5:30pm
Friday – 8:30am-5:30pm
 
Students needing medical services on days when the clinic is closed should call the Boca clinic at 561-297-3512.

WHC Tutoring

The Honors College offers free tutoring to all current students. The schedule of tutoring can be found at:

The tutoring hours for Fall 2020 are being updated as they are received, so please check back daily.

Scholarship Opportunities

ASCEND Scholarship Program
The ASCEND (Advancing STEM-Community Engagement through Neuroscience Discovery) Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to Wilkes Honors College students who demonstrate a passion for advancing neuroscience research and brain health, paralleled by a desire to challenge and educate young minds. The goal of this scholarship is to develop well-rounded, skilled, and committed individuals who are motivated to engage in community education and outreach. The ASCEND program is offering scholarships to be a part of innovative STEM outreach to middle and high school students.Here is the webpage: http://www.fau.edu/ibrain/ascend/  To receive an application, please contact Nicole Baganz, nbaganz@health.fau.edu


The Wilkes Honors College Community Engagement Scholarship provides financial assistance to Wilkes Honors College students who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to serving non-profit and community organizations. Students who have completed at least one semester of study at the Wilkes Honors College may receive up to $5000.00 in scholarship funds to be applied toward their tuition and fees during an academic year. Scholarship recipients will be required to complete a minimum of three credits (180 hours) of internship work with an approved non-profit or public organization. You can find information on the approved organizations and how to apply here. This scholarship has a rolling deadline but applications will be processed as they are received so apply early.

The FAU Career Center hosts the fall virtual Career Expo on Wednesday, September 30, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. This virtual career fair provides students and alumni an opportunity to network with many employers and learn about positions in various industries. Organizations are recruiting for full-time and part-time jobs as well as internships. 
 
For a full list of companies attending, please register in Handshake before the event, and you will receive a link for the virtual career fair.
