Our schools have many options for students to learn this year. No matter the option that our students pursue, GEAR UP Jefferson County is planning ways to continue support for our schools, students and families. Partners for the 2020-2021 school year are being finalized and our area facilitators will soon be planning with the schools to continue the great services provided to the cohort. This year may look different, but our desire to see the students reach their goals is the same!

National GEAR UP Week


National GEAR UP week was slightly different this year than in years past. Instead of guest speakers, pictures and in-person excitement, there were links, videos and virtual sessions! The goal of the entire week was to promote awareness about GEAR UP. It was a great week and plans for next year are already in the works!
