We come before the Lord for the following immediate & urgent prayers:
Father God, today is a beautiful day because we know it is a gift from you. We come to praise you today and to pray for Earline Bates who went to the Gastroenterologist for abdominal pain only to find out she had a blood clot in each lung. She was released from the ICU on Sunday and was told that it could take up to six months for blood clots to dissolve in the lungs. Lord, we pray that her recovery is swift and uneventful and that she can return to her normal life sooner than expected. We are thankful that you gifted her doctors, that they were quick to catch these clots and she was able to receive the care she required without further issues. Lord, we just thank you today that Earline is now home and looking forward to a full recovery.
Lord, we also want to pray for safe travels for Pastor Scott and his parents. He is flying to them on Tuesday and will be driving them down to their new home in Bellville. We pray that the roads are clear, the drivers are aware, and the vehicles work perfectly in order to get them to Texas safely.
Psalm 9:1
I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
Father, thank you for all that you have given us. We thank you for our community, and that you've put people in our lives that we don't even know but will pray for us because they know it's needed. We ask that you continue to work through us, that we are able to reach those who need you, and we pray that we never cease praying. Not just to walk with us through the valleys, or to celebrate on the mountain tops, but Lord, we pray that we will come to you during the mundane times and through the normal days. Those days that we just walk through, we pray that we're still able to see you and talk to you during those times also. Lord, Jesus, we come to you today only in thanks and praise that your love is so unconditional and everlasting. In your blessed name, we pray, Amen.
