Principal's Corner
Good Morning,
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I am back at school and doing well. I may be in and out for radiation treatments in the coming weeks, but you should have no trouble tracking me down if you need me.
As you are aware, an email went out on Monday with a survey for Extended Care. If you have not had the chance to fill it out and will be needing extended care, please take a few minutes now to help us determine which space we will need to use. We will email interested families with a start date as soon as we hear back from you.
Those families that have been waiting for First Holy Communion and Confirmation - your wait is almost over. We anticipate celebrating those sacraments in late October and early November. Watch your emails!

Morning Drop Off
To help with drop-off, if your child is able to unbuckle themselves and exit from the right-hand side of your vehicle they may do so and do not need to wait for assistance from a staff member.

Auction News
Due to county restrictions, our annual auction dinner was cancelled this year. Unfortunately, we had already purchased plants for the centerpieces. We have 5 large snake plants and quite a few of the spider plants left for sale. The prices are on the photos. We are offering no contact payment and local delivery. If you are interested, please text JoAnna Machado Perez at 209-815-2256 with your choice. She will then get back to you with payments instructions.

School Shirts - Embroidery
We have an order processing right now and it should be delivered soon. Once these are delivered our next order will go in to be embroidered. I have some M youth red polo shirts with the embroidery for $10 in stock. You may call the school office if you are interested in purchasing one that already has the logo.

Scrip News
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. As with everything else this year, Scrip has had to make a few changes to the daily operations.
We will be taking scrip orders by phone or email during school office hours, 7:30 am-4:00 pm. I will try to get all orders out by the end of the day. Please leave a contact number with your order and you will be notified when your order is ready for pick up.
Process for ordering Scrip -
Please call the school office at 823-4513, or send an email to scrip@sasmanteca.org. Remember to include a contact number. Any items we do not have in stock will automatically be put on back order unless otherwise stated by you.
Many of you are already using the online ShopWithScrip program. This is an excellent way to earn your Scrip profit on the go! They have just added a mobile app (RaiseRight) for your android and ios devices. While taking advantage of the convenience of an online/app transaction, please be award that you can ONLY purchase e-cards or reload a previously purchased card. ALL physical cards must be ordered through our Scrip office.

Tacos NO Tequila Drive Through at St. Anthony's October 9
Come, drive through, pick up and enjoy 4 tacos, rice, beans, chips and salsa on Friday October 9. All food is being provided by La Estrella Taqueria. Dinners are $15 each. Call the office and we can charge your card over the phone or use your PTG credit vouchers. We will have your name and dinners purchased waiting for you when you arrive - no tickets needed. Last day to place an order will be Wednesday, October 7.

COVID Daily Student Health Screening
A daily health screening is to be completed each day for in-person instruction here on campus. As a reminder, you will find the COVID Response Form in your Family Portal, under the "Web Forms" tab. Please complete this each day before you drop off your students.

Picture Day!
Picture Day is October 5th. Students on campus will have their pictures taken from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Rec Hall. Distance Learning students may come in to have their photos taken between 1 and 3 pm. Please park on Fremont Ave. alongside the gym. Make-Up Day will be the next day at October 6th at Leonard Photography Studio here in town from 3-5pm only.
Photos can be viewed and payment made online after Picture Day, plan on 1-2 weeks. An access code for viewing will be mailed to families from Leonard Photography. K-8 will be sent to the STUDENT's school email address fand preschool/PreK will be sent to the enrolling parent's email. Parents will receive notification from the school once codes have been sent.
Please be advised that students who do not meet the handbook requirements for their hair or uniform will be required to retake their photos.

Join Cub Scout Pack 432

Library Hours
Our school library is open to check out books from 7am to 4pm daily. We can also make arrangements for you to check out books during evening hours or the weekend. Just call the school office and we will work out a time to meet you here. Books may be returned at any time in the school office mail drop, at the front of the school by the lower wing gate, or call the school to renew.

Daily Masses and Sunday Masses can be viewed online. Beginning this weekend, Sunday Masses will also be available on the field at 8:00am (English) and 10:00am (Spanish). The church is being opened up for Adoration and Private Prayer.
