The coming general election cycle is significant, not only for the choice of candidates, but because it will be a Vote By Mail election in California and all our forums will be virtual. Our events will be recorded and available on Election Events page of our website.

Vote With the League
The League of Women Voters will support or oppose ballot measures on issues that we have studied and taken a position. This advocacy is kept separate from all of our educational work at election time, i.e. candidate forums and pros and cons. If we do not have a studied position on an issue, we will not make a recommendation.

"Get the Facts before you Vote" Yard Signs
Want to remind your friends and neighbors to “Get the Facts" before they vote? Post one of our LWV Los Alto Mountain View yard signs (24'"x18”) in your yard. The signs are designed to encourage voters to go to our website for voter information and register for our election events.
To request a lawn sign, complete the form at https://www.lwvlamv.org/lawn-sign-request/ and we will contact you. We suggest that you post the signs within about 6 feet of the sidewalk/street where walkers can scan the QR with their phone’s camera to call up our website. Also please do not place our signs directly next to candidate signs.
In November, we will contact you about returning or storing the sign for next election season.
