Bass Connections Invites Proposals for 2021-2022 Projects
Bass Connections is now accepting proposals for 2021-2022 projects that engage faculty, undergraduates and graduate/professional students in the interdisciplinary exploration of complex societal challenges. The deadline to propose a project is December 4 at 5:00 p.m.

I-House Spring 2021 Global Engagement Program
 
Duke International House, in collaboration with the Career Center, has developed the Global Engagement Program to provide domestic students with beneficial interactions with international students and scholars at Duke, and to prepare them to be true global citizens who make positive impacts around them. NSF Grant Workshop for Faculty

Pickering Foreign Affairs Program
Apply for the Pickering Fellowship. Contact the Duke Office of Undergraduate Scholars and Fellows (OUSF) for assistance. The deadline is October 21.

Rangel Graduate Fellowship
Gain funding for a master's degree, internships on Capitol Hill and at U.S. embassies, mentorship, and professional development before joining the Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State. The program welcomes any undergraduate major (with a 3.2 minimum GPA) and encourages applications from members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service, women, and those with financial need.  Contact OUSF for assistance. The deadline is October 14 at 11:59 p.m. EST 

Princeton in Asia
Work in global communities in areas such as economic development, education, environmental sustainability, peace & justice, and public health. Programs also available in Africa and Latin America. Contact OUSF for assistance. The deadline is October 31.

Payne International Development Graduate Fellowship Program
Receive funding for a master's degree, internships, mentorship, and professional development before joining the USAID Foreign Service. Work on the front lines of some of the most pressing global challenges of our times — poverty, hunger, injustice, disease, environmental degradation, climate change, conflict and violent extremism. New COVID-19 Travel Policy
The Duke Travel Policy has been revised through Nov. 24, 2020, to allow undergraduates to petition the COVID-19 committee for travel, include “local” travel within the scope of essential travel criteria, eliminate the mandatory 14-day quarantine upon return or arrival from travel abroad, and allow for conference/workshop/seminar attendance that is required and funded by the terms of a sponsored project.
