Treaty Day and Mi'kmaq History Month
October 1.  October 1 is Treaty Day and commemorates the key role of Treaties between Nova Scotia Mi'kmaq and the Crown. It is the start of Mi'kmaq History Month. Please follow the link for event details.

Decolonization Learning Journey: four-part series
The Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia presents this free online education series. The series will be spread out from June to December of 2020 and will be launched in 4 series of learning, with each series consisting of 4 sessions.

New Resource: Indigenous Health Primer
Our website has a new Indigenous health resource. Created by the Royal College and designed to provide key approaches, ideas and background knowledge for health care providers, learners and educators in caring for Indigenous Peoples.
