This month, Ashlee announces walk-up services at all our branches, describes a new service at the Corvallis Public Library, reminds us about the quarantine period for library returns, and explains that ballot boxes will be outside our libraries this year instead of inside.

Walk-Up Service Update

We now provide walk-up service in all four CBCPL branches -- including Philomath! Stop by during walk-up hours to pick up your holds or ask us for recommendations.

At noon on Wednesday, October 21, Random Review will feature a review of Sarah M. Broom’s National Book Award-winning memoir The Yellow House presented by Fay Stetz-Waters, Director of Civil Rights for the Oregon Department of Justice.

Benton County Quaranzine

Submit a page to the Benton County Quaranzine anthology and help us gather a collective story of this time of pandemic and protest! Write, draw, collage, scrapbook, or in some way document your experiences during COVID-19, and send us your entry to become a part of the zine.

Free Book Packs for Kids

Thanks to a donation, we are distributing free packs of children’s books starting October 2. Packs include 10 books, written in English, for Grades 1-6. To request a book pack to be delivered, please complete a request form for each child. Book packs may also be picked up at walk-up hours at any branch, no need to submit a request! (Pictured are examples from different packs.)
