Dallas ISD COVID-19 Update: Sept. 28
DALLAS — Starting on Monday, Sept. 28, students who work, parent, want to make up missed credits or earn accelerated course credit are invited to explore the opportunities offered by Dallas ISD’s Evening Academy. This program allows self-motivated learners to progress at their own pace to earn credits in English, Spanish, math, science, social studies and other select electives.

Dallas ISD Profiles: Jonathan Lopez
After graduating from Townview School of Business in 2014, Jonathan Lopez attended a trade school, got his degree in air conditioning and then started his career in the field working in commercial refrigeration and residential HVAC. Now, Jonathan is back in a Dallas ISD classroom, this time as a teacher, preparing students for high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand occupations at the North Dallas Career Institute.
