Wickham Common Primary School PTA is a registered charity, and whilst all parents are part of the PTA, we do need to vote (so very official) in our committee members and were really pleased to welcome 2 new members! PTA AGM short recap - £17k to spend!
Thank you for supporting your school. This year we made just under £17k which is still a really good pot of money for spending on projects enriching our children's curriculum.
PTA funds will pay for:
Lifebus - encouraging wellbeing and healthy choices.
Composition and drum classes.
Education City and Bug Club - remote learning apps
Making our outdoor pond area accessible in winter.
Creating a more playful environment for year 1, to ease transition from Reception.
Plus more.
Advertise your business in VISTA - support the school
Advertise your business in the Winter 2020 issue of VISTA from as little as £35. Email us for the rate card and more details at vistawickhamcommon@gmail.com . The advertising deadline is 12 October. Vista is delivered mid-November and shared online.
VISTA is Wickham Common School's quarterly A5 magazine distributed to 4,500 homes in Coney Hall, West Wickham and Hayes area. Run on a voluntary basis by our PTA, all proceeds go towards school projects for our children.
Now in it's 19th year VISTA is going from strength to strength - the fresh content makes for an interesting read, and it is often kept as a reference after it's been delivered. Plus it is now available online to read, and will be promoted via the PTA facebook page.
