Please fill out the form below to give us a better idea of the types of merch people are interested in. Also, submit any design ideas you would like to see on a mug, shirt, magnets etc.

POSTER SUBMISSION
We would like to decorate our physics classrooms and hallways. We are asking for you all to be bold and creative. Create an image that contain a scientist/physicist that you admire or looks like you. These submitted images would then be made into posters.
For those that submit an image, you would be mailed a gift from SPS.
As a physics community we would then vote on the top poster (for fun), the winner will receive a special gift from SPS and a copy of their poster design.
If you don't want to submit an image, feel free to submit the name of a scientist/physicist you would like to see on our physics hallways.

SPS @Wellesley Discord
Since there was a huge interest in having virtual physics study rooms, we want to create a virtual physics community through Discord. Hopefully this will be a good place to meet others, pset and chat!

Shirley Ann Jackson
Dr. Jackson is a leader in STEM, politics, research, and higher education. She received her bachelor's degree and PhD in physics from MIT and she was the first African American woman to receive a doctorate at MIT. Additionally, she was the first African American woman to be the president of a research institution.
As a student at MIT, she assisted in the organization of the Black Student Union and fought for an increase in diversity at MIT and other institutions during her academic career. She also developed programs to assist diverse students in their undergraduate journeys and beyond.
As a researcher in particle physics, she accepted many awards and was recognized by the White House for her work. As she continued to become recognized for her research in noteable laboratories including Bell Labs and serving as a faculty member at Rutgers University, she also became very involved in public policy, STEM education, and nuclear safety advocacy internationally.
Leaders such as Dr. Jackson have paved the way for Black Indigneous and People of Color within STEM and can serve as a reminder that we too are capable of our biggest dreams and aspirations.
