FALL PROGRAMS
We are continuing to evaluate and weigh our options for the following programs: Youth Basketball, Youth Volleyball, Youth Gymnastics, Adult Basketball, and Adult Volleyball. We are actively working on a solution to adhere to social distancing guidelines for these programs. When and if we are able to define the programs in a way that is safe for our staff and participants we will release the information via our social  media and digital platforms and local news media.

Main Facility
Monday - Thursday: 5:00am - 9:00pm 
Friday: 5:00am - 8:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Pool Hours
Monday - Thursday: 5:00am - Noon & 4:00pm - 9:00pm 
Friday: 5:00am - 5:00am - Noon & 4:00pm - 8:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am - 4:00pm 
Sunday: 10:00am - 5:00pm 
(Lane reservations are encouraged, walk-ins are welcome but lanes are not guaranteed without reservations)

NOW HIRING: Program DirectorTo provide quality programs that promotes youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for all members and potential members through design, implementation, staffing and organization for each individual program, with the end goal to function proficiently on a daily basis. Further, it is the responsibility of the Program Director to support the Executive Director in the advancement of the YMCA both financially and socially through partnerships within the community.

To monitor pool activities and ensures member safety. Enforce all safety guidelines as outlined by the Fort Madison Family YMCA. Respond to emergency situations if/when they arise. Maintain a positive and safe environment for members, visitors and swimmers.

DOWNTOWN FACILITY IS NOW OPEN!!!

The Fort Madison Family YMCA’s Downtown Facility comprised of a brand new wellness center and gymnastics studio is open to members 18 years of age and older who hold a 24 Hour Access Membership. 

The wellness center offers 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 2 spinning bikes, 1 stationary bike, agility rope, kettle balls, dumbbells, pull-up bars, weight bench, and changing rooms. 

Located at 802 Avenue G, Fort Madison, Iowa. 

24 Hour Access Memberships are available for just $5/month. Stop by the main facility in Fort Madison to add to your existing membership.

OLIVE BRANCH JIU JITSU


Now accepting new students!


Instruction:

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Judo, Wrestling and Self-Defense, Styles-Competitive (tournaments), recreational and/or fitness minded, Anti-Bullying

Ages 6-8 Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Classes available (45 minute classes)

Ages 9-13 Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Classes available (45 minute classes)

We will focus on basic, intermediate and advanced Jiu-jitsu, Judo and Wrestling concepts. Self-defense, street smarts and anti-bullying curriculum. Curriculum includes roll playing to assist students with decision making. Improves confidence and self esteem while instilling respect. Burn off the extra energy with a great form of exercise and improve agility and athleticism.

Ages 13+ Teens and Men (Gi and No-Gi)
Basic, intermediate and advanced Jiu-jitsu, Judo, Wrestling and Self Defense concepts. Training for fitness, self-defense or competitions. Improve flexibility, athleticism, strength and endurance. Great place for fellowship and a safe environment to relieve stress.

Ages 13+ Teens and Women (Gi Only) Basic, intermediate and advanced Jiu-jitsu, Judo and Self-Defense concepts. Training for fitness and self-defense. Build confidence using technique and timing to overcome bigger and stronger opponents. Total body workout where the weights you are trying to move around will be also moving you around.

PERSONAL TRAINERS

Now accepting new clients!

Shawnna Williamson

A personal trainer since 2002, Shawnna is certified in PiYo, Zumba and Les Mills Body Pump. She has taught step aerobics, circuit training, weight training and spinning. In addition, Shawnna is CPR/AED certified.

Dana Zumdome

A personal trainer since 2018, Dana is also a certified group fitness instructor and has completed her Advanced Personal Training certification through Fitour. She currently teaches our Tone-It class, and is CPR/AED certified.
