Chicago Water Week event poster
Hi <<First Name>>,

We’re almost at the halfway mark of Chicago Water Week and there are still 16 events you can attend over the next 3 days. The first 2 were packed with inspiring stories and ideas, covering clean water access and affordability, diversifying Blue Jobs, what it takes to patent and commercialize a great water solution, and even buffalo boxes and the Fermilab bison! Here’s just a snapshot of our speakers so far:
  • Kari K. Steele, President of the Board of Commissioners, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago
  • Andrea R. Holthouse Cheng, P.E., Ph.D., City of Chicago Department of Water Management
  • Junhong Chen, Lead Water Strategist and Senior Scientist, Argonne and Crown Family Professor of Molecular Engineering, University of Chicago
  • Angela Tovar, City of Chicago Office of the Mayor
  • Eugene Yan, Earth Scientist/Department Head, Environmental Science Division (EVS), Argonne
  • Illinois Sen. Heather Steans (D-Chicago)
  • Illinois Rep. Lamont J. Robinson (D-Chicago)
  • Mauricio Suarez, Deputy Head of Technology Development and Industry Engagement, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory
  • Jennifer Wasik, Assistant Director of Monitoring and Research at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago
  • Melissa Byrn, Director of Innovation Programs at the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Chicago
