When I got an email about this collection I immediately know which song I thought would fit. "People Tell Me" was written for a musical I did about Joan of Arc a few years ago. The song was never used, only a fragment survived in the final show. Here's the whole song. It's a demo from my home studio, and was to be sung by villagers who feel powerless under English occupation. I think it expresses a lot of what many of us are feeling today. And Joan reminds us to have faith, be strong.
