Next Meeting: Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 6 PM at the Zip Trail Head
This month we hosted our 4th Annual LAMBO-Rama Open House and Membership Appreciation. A big thank you to Hinterland Brewery for donating their fantastic beer to share with volunteers and members. We enjoyed brats, bike rides and campfires.

And at LAMBORama we celebrated the opening of the first bridge at the Zip Trail! This bridge connects one of the Zip’s most popular trails, Sue 2, to the scenic, hand-built single-track trail, T-Bird Valley.
Last year LAMBO member Dan Trapp (known at LAMBO as ‘Super Dan’) decided the Zip needed a bridge! He realized two trails came within just 50 feet of each other but were miles apart in terms of easy access from one to another, with a canyon in the way. He reached out to Nimsgern Steel who graciously donated the design, materials and engineering of the new bridge. And then there was no stopping Dan and the LAMBO volunteer crew! Trapp Electric and Frank Coffen Carpentry donated supplies and tools and LAMBO got to work. Two months and 133 volunteer hours later, the Zip has its first bridge.

“It completely changes the trail system. Now there are more options for routes and it really helps highlight T-Bird Valley for mountain bikers. That really is beautiful trail and some sweet single-track,” says Frank Coffen, the Zip Trail Boss.

LAMBO Spotlight on our Awesome Sponsors and Business Members
This month's sponsor spotlight is Howard Brothers Plumbing.  Owners Greg and Terri Howard have been LAMBO members and sponsors for nearly 4 years.  They have always been avid outdoor enthusiasts so LAMBO was a natural fit.  Terri has been a runner for years and has participated in (and sponsored) the See-Me-Tri annual triathlon multiple times.  Terri says that she and Greg first got involved in LAMBO when they started snow biking.  They have spent many hours grooming trails and volunteering at events.  Both she and Greg have participated in the Rip, Zip and Sip over the years and have enjoyed that and other LAMBO events.

Howard Brothers Plumbing has been a family run business since 1968.  Although they do plumbing, they specialize in mechanical work such as pump houses and Waste Water Treatment Facilities.  Howard Brothers employs skilled experienced Master Plumbers and Journeyman Plumbers.  Lambo appreciates Terri and Greg's participation in club special events, fundraising activities and sponsor support.
We love trails of all types and the Lakeleand area offers so many opportunities. Your support helps us build &maintain trails for public use year around. And we're a friendly bunch and always welcome new members! Join us for a meeting to learn more.
