From the Desk of Dr. Tucker
Dear Parents,
We are a little more than halfway through the first 9-weeks. It’s been amazing. In the building and online everything is getting smoother and more peaceful for students, teachers, and, hopefully, for you. While there have been challenges, we are seeing great strides in student learning and just overall peace and joy in each classroom.
Yesterday I went to an ACSI meeting for area Christian Schools. During the discussions I learned that about ½ of the schools had a positive COVID-19 case since starting and had to shut down one or more classes since students have been on campus. Again, I am so thankful God has protected us.
It was also discussed how everyone is stretched this year. I am so appreciative of our parents reaching out to do a teacher’s lunch duty or bring their lunch. I have also heard we have some treats coming during the month of October – thank you. You are awesome. I am thankful for parents that look to serve our teachers in creative ways. You are a blessing.
