Stay Connected!

Issue 22

Hello <<First Name>>,

A busy weekend unfolds before us all - but one where we are given the opportunity to pull back a little and connect with our Creator, connect each other, connect with creation around us and continue to connect with our cuddly companions big and small!

Read on to see how you can Stay Connected this weekend.

Tell a friend (or stranger!) about this e-letter and encourage others to sign up here so they too can be connected.

Check out the Greystones Parish and Kilquade Parish websites during the week for information too.

WEEKEND LITURGY

27th Sunday in Ordinary Time

The risk for Christians today is that we read the parable complacently, because it clearly refers to Jews and Christians in the first century.  Sacred Space offers a range of short reflections on the message of the tenants managing the vineyard for us today.  This is the one that I will carry with me as I encounter the Gospel in our liturgy this weekend. (Paul)

“We are the tenants in the parable. We are provided by God with everything we need to make our vineyard prosper. God gives us the freedom to run the vineyard as we choose – but it is God’s. We need to be sensitive to what God desires of us. This is what prayer is about – coming to know the mind of God within our lives”.

(adapted from reflections on the Gospel from Sacred Space)

Tune in to the webcam before 11:30am Mass to hear the welcome.
The Scripture readings are available daily and for Sunday.
