FLNRORD Research Videos
The BC Ministry of Forests Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development (FLNRORD) recently produced a great video Celebrating 100 Years of Research.

In 1921, J.L. Alexander was the first research scientist hired by the BC Forest Branch to work on forest regeneration, growth and yield, and fire protection. Over the following 100 years, the Research Program has delivered high-quality research, produced more than 3,000 publications, and informed stewardship policies and practices.

This video is #18 on the FLNRORD Research Talks YouTube Channel.  Also watch talks by Dr. Ward Strong (#8, Whitebark Pine Breeding Program), Dr. Greg O'Neill (#9, Do Trees Have a Happy Place), and Dr. Michael Stoehr (#13, Tree Breeding).
