Kelli (Outreach Services Coordinator): Rushmore is a great movie about a kid who does more extra-curricular work than school work at his private school, Rushmore. I love it because it happens during the Fall, has fun, quirky dialogue and an interesting plot, and features a very young Jason Schwartzman.
Leanne (Circulation Lead): I'm reading the book Growing Things: and Other Stories by Paul Tremblay. It's a collection of the bizarre, the spooky, the strange. Great for Halloween!
Rosa (Reference Specialist): Tuesday Mooney Talks to Ghosts by Kate Racculia isn't really scary or a traditional ghost story, but it's full of references to horror pop culture from Hammer films to The X-Files. Featuring a treasure hunt for the legacy of an eccentric millionaire named Vincent Pryce (with a y!), it's like The Westing Game for grown-ups.
