Welcome to our October Newsletter! I would like to start by saying a huge thank you for all of you who continue fundraising for us in those challenging times. Thank you for donating your Birthdays to us on Facebook, for all your direct donations and new fundraising campaigns too.

This November we will be celebrating our 55th Birthday, and we couldn't have done it without you.

We are very grateful and touched by your support!  

 
Changes in how we communicate 

This month we are introducing changes to the way we communicate with you all, our kind supporters. First of all, we are making our monthly supporter newsletters a little bit shorter. With many of us still working online, we understand that long emails can be overwhelming. So from now on, we will keep our updates as short as possible. If you need specific case studies or recent fundraising news, please follow us on social media (@otrfriends). 

In the recent few months, we have noticed a significant increase in monthly giving. This really means a lot to us - to receive your ongoing support in those challenging times is very special. So to say thank you, we are launching a special edition of our monthly news which will include resources from OTR Bristol curated for our monthly supporters. Starting from October, if you have signed up for monthly giving, your newsletter will contain some helpful goodies from us. If you wish to sign up for monthly giving, head over to JustGiving and choose the donation options featured below.

Please note that we are doing this in response to your shift in giving. We appreciate and value every single supporter - regardless of how you give. We are grateful for all your ideas, fundraising campaigns and kind words of encouragement. Thank you!

This month we would like to say a huge thank you to Rob (Yoga Dad) for his Summer Stretch Challenge. Rob raised over £500 for local charities, including us. We are so impressed with Rob's creativity and commitment to post daily on his YouTube channel. If you need a relaxing moment of yoga, do go to his channel and make the most of those free sessions! 

Thank you for your continuous support and for helping us help young people's mental health.
