WLI member survey 2020

WLI is a network of wetland centre members, and we want to provide you with the best service possible. With that goal in mind, we would like you to give us a few minutes to complete an online questionnaire.

This survey will help us to evaluate the services we offer, find out more about you and all our members, and plan for the future to meet your needs better. With the current COVID-19 crisis impacting on all of us, we want to know how we can change to support you better.

Your input is very valuable and important to us. Please be honest and let us know what you think, ideally with suggestions for how to provide useful resources and activities that you would like. If you have not done so recently, take a look at our website at www.wli.org.uk to see what is already available.

Thank you very much for your time in participating in our survey. We will share the results of our survey with all respondents, and all response will be treated anonymously. The survey will close on 30 September 2020.

COVID-19 survey findings

This is the second survey we have sent you in two months, and we appreciate your continued support and patience! In August we asked you how COVID-19 has affected your way of working; we have published the results on our website and are going to take them into consideration as we return to full working hours again, we hope in November.

In brief
Sadly some WLI members have let staff go as a result of the pandemic – 13 % of the respondents. Ninety-five percent of the respondents are still working. Forty-eight percent of the wetland centres are fully open; 26 % open in a limited capacity, and 26 % are shut. Read more.

Sharing resources

In our COVID-19 survey, 43 % of respondents asked for digital support, with images, video, and teaching materials suitable for sharing online.

The Kansas Wetlands Education Center has already kindly made their teaching materials available for us on their website!
