Hi there,

Instead of a written post this week, I'm trying something new... a video!

This is the first of three videos for people who've had a heart attack or other cardiac event. I thought this might be especially helpful this year, with most cardiac rehab programs operating remotely, limiting in-person access to dietitians. For some people, food and nutrition can be a real source of stress, but it doesn't have to be!

In these videos, I'll be sharing lessons learned in 15 years now as a dietitian specializing in cardiac health: The six keys to success, ten pitfalls to avoid, and frequently asked questions (FAQs).

If you aren't living with heart disease, or it's been so long that you're a veteran, I invite you to watch anyhow if you're curious. You may find many of the tips and guidance relevant to you as well.

How to Eat Well for Life After a Cardiac Event, Video #1: 6 Keys to Success

Either way, I hope you find it helpful! Feedback always welcome, either as comments under the video or privately by responding to this note.

And I'm still putting together the FAQ video, so if you have questions, send them my way!

Enjoy!
- Cheryl
