I am passing this request to all of you from Natalie Cruz who is doing research on the effects of COVID-19 on international students. Please consider sending this survey out to your students.

My name is Natalie Cruz, and I am a doctoral student in the Higher Education Ph.D. program at Old Dominion University. My research focuses on international students and higher education.

I am partnering with colleagues from Appalachian State University and Eastern Virginia Medical School on a study about international students’ trauma responses and support systems during the COVID-19 pandemic. Regardless of whether a participant believes they are experiencing a trauma response, we encourage them to complete the survey linked below.  It will take them approximately 20 minutes to complete and does not collect information related to personal identifiers (names/schools). This study will be important to understand how international students may experience trauma during difficult times, and how colleges and universities can better support them.
