Calling all Colorado HIstory Buffs!
Book Discussion
with Author Jeri L. Norgren Neff & John Fielder

Join Cherry Hills Land Preserve as we chat with author Jeri L. Norgren Neff about her new book: Colorado’s Highest; The History of Naming the 14,000-Foot Peaks   Colorado’s Highest; The History of Naming the 14,000-Foot Peaks is an exciting new book Jeri collaborated on with John Fielder which details the fascinating history of the discovery and naming of our highest peaks.

The complete history of the 14er names has never been written until now and considering the popularity of our highest peaks, this book will definitely fill a void in Colorado’s history. The stories of our highest peaks are fascinating – did you know that Mount Evans was not the original name for that magnificent peak? It was christened Mount Rosalie as a romantic gesture and the name stood for 30 years.

Join Jeri and John as they share stories about our beloved peaks while enjoying an afternoon at Quincy Farm!
