Thank you to everyone in the SIS community for their spirit and drive to make learning come alive from the 10th August. All our Secondary students have made progress in this period and now is an opportunity to relax and refresh, take in a good book, visit with family and friends and re-energise in preparation for the next few months. Our community has been amazing in how it continues to support students and families who are making thier way back to China and navigating the ongoing challenges of the pandemic, we hear regular stories of the Gecko spirit coming to the fore in recognising that we are all experiencing a once in a lifetime event. Have a wonderful Golden Week holiday break.
A particular thank you to our HS StuCo who have taken on the role of providing welcome packs to all those students who have passed the "quarantine' test and are now connecting and reconnecting on campus.

Tame the Technology - Parent Workshop
The Secondary SIS Counselors invite you to learn about how to Tame the Technology. We will be having conversations around blue light and its effects on sleep, how to incorporate technology use agreements, we will share all kinds or resources on a shared padlet as well as talk you through a few apps that might be useful to know about. We have also invited a special guest speaker from our Learning innovation team, Mr. Eddie Bruce, who will help walk us through how to look at screen use on your child's tablets.
