Don’t forget to check your email for your M2 System login email from Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa (email@mail.gsnutsandmags.com) which will contain your link to gain access to the M2 System for managing the Fall Product Program.

Please check your spam, junk, or promotions folders if you did not receive the registration email. Requests to resend the registration email should be sent to
info@gsiowa.org.

If you have questions about the M2 System platform, you can contact M2 at (800) 372-8520 or
question@gsnutsandmags.com.

Note: All Troop Product Managers (TPMs) and troop leaders will receive a login to the M2 System this year. While the TPM is primarily responsible for running the Fall Program for your troop, we know a successful program can be a team effort! Each participating troop can earn two custom avatar patches for volunteers--one for the TPM and one for another supporting volunteer! All you have to do is log into the system, create your avatar, and help your troop participate!

Having all troop leaders loaded into the system will make it super easy for each troop to claim their troop patches. Juliette parents/guardians can also create and earn an avatar patch (1 per Juliette).

Last Call for TPM Training!

The final training for TPMs for the Fall Program is today (Thursday, September 24). You still have time to join this session – or view a recorded version at your convenience.

TPM Trainings are geared toward TPMs, but Service Unit Product Chairs (SUPCs) and Juliette Parent/Guardians are also encouraged to attend.

Troop Product Manager (TPM) Training - for new or returning TPMs.
September 24 | 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

For those of you who are unable to make a live training, recordings of the TPM Fall Product Training and the SUPC Fall Product Training are available on The Bridge!

The M2 System for TPMs

Yesterday, Wednesday, September 23, the online platform for Fall Product launched for all volunteers. Login emails were sent from Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa (email@mail.gsnutsandmags.com). Here are some of the key things you will want to look for or complete in the M2 System for a successful start to the Fall Program for your troop:

Watch the troop training video on your initial log in. This is required for troop level users.

Create your avatar and customized patch.
When you get your login email and click on the link to access the M2 System, you will be prompted to create a password. Once you do that, you can gain access to the system.  Next, you will be asked to confirm your shipping information for your personalized avatar patch.

Then, in the upper left-hand corner there is an “Edit Avatar” link. You will click on that, make your customized avatar selections, and save it.

There is one additional step to create your patch. Click the “Your Patch” link below “Edit Avatar.” You will select your patch background and confirm your shipping address there--then you’re good to go!

Launch parent/guardian email blasts announcing troop participation in the Fall Product Program.
Your emails to girl families will be sent on October 1, but you can set them up in the system sooner. All girls will be prompted to log in to the M2 System on October 2 if their TPM does not launch their girl emails.

To create the launch email, go to the “Parent and Guardian Email Blast” under the Campaign Setup section. Here, you can edit your girl recipient list, view the email that will be sent, and confirm your troop’s campaign for launch on October 1.

Enter your troop bank account information.
Under the Financials and Reporting section, select “Banking & Payments.” On the next screen, click the “+” to the left of your troop number and select “Manage ACH.” You will enter your troop’s bank account information on the screen that pops-up and select save. Don’t have a troop bank account yet?  You can view instructions on how to set-up one here

The M2 System for SUPCs

SUPCs, here are some of the key things you will want to look for or complete in the M2 System for a successful start to the Fall Program for your service unit:

Watch the troop training video on your initial log in.
This is not required for service unit level users, but highly recommended!

Create your avatar and customized patch.
Check out the step-by-step directions in the TPM section above. You will receive your patch free, just for volunteering for Fall Product!

Enter your delivery station information.
You will be prompted to enter your delivery station information every time you log in. You will be asked to enter this once, for product delivery, and a second time, for reward delivery. You can enter two different addresses if you would like rewards shipped to a different location than where your service unit’s product will be delivered!

While you can skip this step, you will be prompted to enter this information every time you log in to the M2 System. Delivery stations are due by Sunday, October 11

Check out the SUPC Checklist for additional information on managing deliveries for your service unit!

Service Unit Help Needed

We love our SUPCs--volunteers who help manage the Fall Product (and/or Cookie) Program for all the troops in the Service Unit. Each SUPC coordinates delivery and pickup of product and rewards items for the Fall Program and helps as a resource for troops and families with questions. We still need some SUPCs across the council. If you’re interested in taking this on in your area, please let us know asap! Don’t worry – we’ll be here every step of the way to support you.

Not sure if your Service Unit has an SUPC set-up already? Just ask! Contact us at info@gsiowa.org or give us a call at (800) 342-8389.

Where's Simone?

This week is our final edition of Where’s Simone?! This week, Simone attended a service unit rally and got to try some samples and now she’s making a list of potential customers to reach out to when the Fall Product Program kicks off NEXT WEEK on October 1!

We’ve had so much fun sharing her adventures in the Official Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa Leaders Group on Facebook as we gear up for this year’s Fall Product. For the grand finale, a Girl Scout will have the opportunity to WIN SIMONE! Yes, you heard us right!

Here’s what girls need to do:
  • Print out and color their very own Flat Simone here. You can do this for your entire troop as a fun activity or part of your Fall Product Troop Kickoff!
  • Girls need to take a picture during the Fall Product Program (October 1-18) showing how Simone is helping them. She might be helping make a customer list, setting up a custom avatar, or sending emails!
  • Submit the picture here, by October 20. Make sure your parents/guardians have this link to help (https://www.girlscoutsiowa.org/en/our-council/share-your-story.html)!
  • One winner will be randomly selected and will get to take home big Simone!

Tip of the Week!

Don’t forget to update your bookmark or save the correct link to the M2 System for Fall Product. It’s gsnutsandmags.com/gsgi in case you need it!

We also added some fun graphics and artworks for you to use during the Fall Product Program! Check out our Facebook album here!
