#VolunteerSpotlight
Alicia Duran is a senior and accelerated master's student at Cornell University. She is majoring in health care policy and is working towards a Master's in Health Administration. She became involved with CRC this past summer as a remote administrative assistant and is continuing her position into the academic year, helping with everything from research to data entry (and lots of stuff in between!) Alicia hopes to turn her passion for helping her community into a mission-driven career in health administration. Outside of work and academics, Alicia enjoys trying new restaurants in Ithaca and going fruit picking at nearby farms.

Wishing a Happy Birthday to these fabulous volunteers:
Pauline Cameron, Melissa Kolberg, Marcie Kreydt,
and Veronica Del Manzano

Here are some ways to help support CRC:

Easy Living Hats is a woman-owned, sustainable hat company based in Ithaca. Keeping with tradition, owner Olivia Royale will be donating hats to our Boutique for people undergoing treatment or needing a little pick-me-up.  All Hats are handcrafted with all natural and comfortable fibers. For 2020 Olivia has partnered with artisans in Peru to crochet a special batch of packable hats and we are excited to see them!  For Breast Cancer Awareness month, Easy Living Hats will also be donating 10% of their local sales to CRC! Stay cozy and contact us to arrange a time to stop down to grab a free hat! (more pictures here.)
Have you contributed your $300 in tax-deductible, charitable donations for 2020? It’s not too late to take advantage of this tax deduction
and support your favorite Cancer Resource Center!
