Hello!

Several new announcements this week!

1. Our next LEAF Virtual class via Zoom will be Wednesday 9/30 at 4:30 and will include a cook along activity of making basil pesto.  Those interested in participating that haven't yet signed up for Wednesday classes can complete this quick registration form and pesto making kits can be picked up at the farm either this Sunday 9/27 from 3-4 pm or Wednesday 9/30 before class from 3-4 pm.  Just respond to me if you plan to pick up a pesto kit and which day so we can have them ready for you!

2. Our annual fundraiser has gone virtual, and now there are multiple great opportunities to have a delicious meal and support the farm through our dinner series.  I wanted to highlight the first dinner a delicious BBQ spread from Brookland's Finest- this serves 4 so it's a great family option and you can get 20% off if you select either that dinner, or the meal from Big Bear Cafe, just enter discount code EARLYBIRD (only valid for first two dinners).

3. Last week, Miss Juan made herb butter on our Instagram Live lesson.  This Sunday, I will be demonstrating how to make egg carton flowers.  Join me at 4:30! @commongoodcityfarm
If you want to craft together, you just need a cardboard egg carton, paint or markers that will show up on the egg carton, glue, and something for the stem, can be string, wire, pipe cleaner or a wooden stick/skewer.

And if you're looking for more kids ideas, please check out our youth resources page.
