We welcome Toni to our team as the Business Development and Relationship Manager.

My name is Toni and I have joined the Chamber team as the Business Development and Relationship Manager to cover Karen’s maternity leave. Over the last 20 years I have worked in the event management, fundraising and the philanthropy space. While I am a trained architect, my real passion is people.

I have had the pleasure of working with some incredible individuals such as former US President Bill Clinton, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, as well as New Zealand greats Sir Edmund Hillary and Sir Colin Meads.

Outside of work I spend my time with my partner Mitch and our three dogs, and enjoy travelling, the outdoors and interior design. I am excited for my new role and I look forward to meeting you and getting to know all of our members.

Doctoral Research Study in New Zealand seeks to identify currently successful entrepreneurial leadership patterns to better prepare our future leaders, using the COVID-19 crisis as a testing ground.

Are you a business owner/ entrepreneurial leader in New Zealand that has led your business through the COVID-19 crisis successfully so far?

Our future business leaders need your help!

Calling all business owners and entrepreneurial leaders of businesses of all sizes and across industries in New Zealand who have achieved business continuance through the COVID-19 crisis (so far)!  Sandy Geyer, the founder of EnQPractice (www.enqpractice.com) is an entrepreneurial leader herself and works professionally in the area of entrepreneurial leadership and student leadership.

Sandy is currently engaged in a doctoral research study of professional practice with Capable NZ, at Otago Polytechnic in New Zealand. This is an invitation to participate in her study in New Zealand which aims to identify and understand currently successful entrepreneurial leadership competencies, with a view to better preparing our future entrepreneurial and enterprise leaders with these competencies. Whilst it is understandable that many in entrepreneurial leadership are feeling fatigued and possibly quite fragile through the COVID-19 crisis - there are two very good reasons to participate in this research study.
Firstly, your time collectively on this study will provide a depth of data that will help our future leaders in New Zealand to cope better with the challenges that might lie ahead for them;
and secondly, as a participant, you can request a copy of the research results which could be insightful and helpful to your own business leadership journey.

Participation will take approximately ten to fifteen minutes, is completely anonymous and any volunteered email addresses will be used only for the specifically authorised purpose.

Please go to https://www.enqpractice.com/research-study/  for more information about this research study or directly to  https://tinyurl.com/OPEntrep to complete the survey if you qualify in the inclusion criteria.
