Roy Wilson, M.D.) joined the Lansing Economic Club and Consumers Energy president Patti Poppe for a panel discussion on individual and combined efforts in research and innovation to fight COVID-19 in late September.
As the only research cluster in the nation with three medical doctors as presidents, these leaders have a passion and dedication to serving the health and wellness of their communities and students. URC researchers have studied ways to contain the spread of COVID-19, develop more effective screening, testing and tracing, finding drugs to support the treatment of the illness and contribute to the global race for a vaccine.
