Join SMPS Charlotte for our October Program featuring Stephen Overcash, RA, LEED AP; Principal and Founder of ODA Architecture and David Walters, RIBA; Professor Emeritus of Architecture and Urban Design at UNC Charlotte, as they discuss Extreme Mixed Use from both a practitioner and educator’s point of view. During this discussion, Stephen and David will take a look at the history, present day and future popularity of Mixed Use and why Extreme Mixed Use is so important.

Conference News

Save the Date for the Southeastern Regional Conference (SERC)
in Nashville, Tennessee, from March 1-3, 2021!

Registration will open in the fall. If you are transferring your registration from the 2020 Conference, a code will be sent to your email to use toward conference registration in the amount you paid. At this time, we do not expect the registration rates to go up for the 2021 conference so your credit should cover the cost of the 2021 registration. If this changes, we’ll be sure to let you know.

This year’s virtual conference will take place from October 5–9 throughout the entire week
We’ve lowered the price to $399 for SMPS members and $599 for non-members
The experience will feature a variety of keynotes, breakout sessions, awards and celebratory ceremonies, and even a virtual business exchange and exhibit hall
You’ll have the opportunity to earn CEUs for the sessions you attend
