Area Wide Garage Sales Saturday October 3
The list is done, the maps are made! Look for the hard copies of the garage sale list by Wednesday at Mity Mart, Lincoln Grocery and the Chamber office. The Google Map is being loaded with all the combined communities (Lincoln, Lucas, Sylvan Grove and Wilson) garage sale locations so it will be a one-stop shop for finding all the sales on-the-go! You can also follow the Facebook Event for more updates as we get closer! There are 27 sales in Lincoln alone! Fun trick, you can use your phone to take a picture of the QR code on this flyer below, and it will pop up the website address to see the Google Map!

Business Boo Halloween event
We have been making plans for the Business Boo safe trick or treat event and Boo Meal fundraiser for Thursday, Oct 29th from 5-6 p.m. All Chamber member businesses and organizations are invited to participate in the Business Boo in downtown Lincoln by handing out pre-packaged treats individually to each child's sack (please no big buckets that everyone reaches into). Chamber board members have begun reaching out to local businesses to invite them to participate in the Business Boo and/or help with sponsorships for the meal fundraiser. The Boo Meal will be a grab-and-go style dinner this year, pre-packaged and picked up in front of the Finch Theatre. For increased health safety, we plan to flow the foot traffic in one direction and encourage masks, sanitizer, and social distancing between family groups. Lincoln Park Manor is planning to host an outdoor trick-or-treat from 4-5 on the same day.

KS Tourism Conference is now virtual (and free)!
The 2020 Kansas Tourism Conference is going virtual and will be held via Zoom. This will be available FREE for all industry partners but you do need to register even if you already registered for the conference that was to be held in Liberal. The 30th Annual OCCK Employment Expo - Virtually
Join us Thursday, October 8, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as we hold a Virtual Event. Employers from all over north central Kansas will be online and ready to chat. It’s a great networking event and gives both sides the space and time to have employment conversations. This event replaces the event normally held at the Central Mall in Salina. Big thank you to everyone that stayed open late, offered specials, or got out and shopped for our Doin' Downtown event last week! Between the Eyebrow threading demonstrations at Family Hair Flair, and the Kombucha taste-testing at Village Lines, the $3 Frappes at Main Street Coffee and Finch popcorn, it was a fun night in downtown Lincoln!
