But to return to the source of our title, you have to ask what brought a Canadian, a Texan and boy from Blackpool to join with a native Angeleno in the creation of the finest harmonies and music of West Coast folk rock. (My own theory is Joni Mitchell, but that’s for another day.) Their experiences from small towns; their travels, mental and physical, created iconic escapades in lyrics and sound.
We travel to learn; to enjoy; to graft onto lives, hopefully well lived, additional slivers of experience.
