Week of September 27, 2020

Dear Friends of Clare County Arts Council,

CCAC is still taking reservations for you to paint your own 2 x 2 quilt block square. Your $50 covers your wood block and up to 4 colors. This year you will be painting a "flower" design quilt block. Please register by October 6. The class will be held at the Depot. Contact Vicky at 989.289.8235. I apologize, I am trying to attach a picture of your choices, and it is not working for me. If you want to see the designs, email me at cjsantini72@gmail.com and I will send you your choices.

The Clare Union Street Depot will be open on Saturday, October 3 from 10-2. This is an experiment to see if there is any need to be open on Saturday. Check out the Depot if you have not been there.

Thanks to everyone who donated to the craft supply sale. Special thanks to Rosemary Carson, Jeannie Shelander, Barb Guimond, Theresa Ames, Liz Crafton, Judy Brankel, Jane Sartor Key and Carol Crawford.

Several ladies came and worked on making masks and potholders for the craft sale. Thanks to Judy Hubel and Carol Crawford to spearheading this.

Thanks to the Clare County Cleaver for the nice article and picture on the Depot. The Review also ran an article. CCAC appreciates this.

CCAC purchased a plaque for the Conductor at the Depot. It is a nice finish to the sculpture.

The craft show is still scheduled for October 31 at the Clare Union Depot. Linda Guiliani is in charge of this event. Contact her at 989.240.2470 with questions.

Clare County Arts Council and the Clare Depot Committee are running a special now until November 1st. All prints at the Depot which were originally $20 are now $10.
