A brand new (Minecraft) world
As you may know, the Sandbox is still closed. You can check the status of our physical space and other Concordia library services with this link.
But closed doesn't mean inactive. While access to our physical space is not currently possible, we are still producing tutorials, answering your questions, and hanging out in Minecraft. Follow the links below to connect to our instance of educational Minecraft. Sometime Zoom just doesn't have clear enough rules for fending off a hostile mob.

Want to connect with a community of technology enthusiasts? You might never have been to our on-site location at Concordia's Webster Library, but you can still participate. Whether you have questions for our community (we love a technology challenge), want ideas for projects to work at home, or recommendations for boosting your technology skills, the Sandbox is here to help.
Join us for meet-ups on Thursdays from 2:30-3:30 pm to discuss projects and answer questions. In Minecraft, our hours are more extensive, join us any time using these instructions.Our Minecraft world is still looking a little standard; if you have skills building infrastructure or art we could use your expertise!
Finally, we have tutorials on everything from making a Raspberry Pi door camera (pictured above - could also be good as a wildlife camera), making an interactive avatar to replace your video feed , using JavaScript to make a Lolzcat clock, why you might consider mechanical keyboards and short introduction to video editing with Adobe Premiere.

A small but very interesting perk for Concordians is the recently acquired library access to Criterion on Demand, a streaming service for many, many movies. For even more options, you can browse the full list of video subscription services available through the Concordia library.
