...wonderful Trifari... 1941 patented amethyst and black enamel series circle rosette pin - 1939 'ombre stones' series huge topaz crystal and sapphire baguettes pin, expertly converted long ago from the centrepiece of a magnificent necklace, with advert - classic patented 1940 five flower floral spray pin clip, with Christmas advert from St Louis MO that year - rare Trifari Sterling 1942 bird on a branch, dated by the pre-sterling flower design...
   
...fascinating figurals - MB Boucher metallic enamel bird on a branch with 1940 patent (Boucher rarely stamped patent numbers on their pieces, more usually as in this case 'Des Pat'd') - unsigned but unmistakeable DeRosa, shining metallic enamel spectacular double strawberries pin, pre-sterling - Castlecliff trembler Grasshopper playing the fiddle, with advert showing a $10 price that Christmas 1940 at Bergdorf Goodman, and with the 1941 patent (which Castlecliff used to sue FW Woolworth for selling $1 copies of the design) - and here's a great costume jewelry mystery (at least to us), a Lovesick Alien Monster Turtle Pin, part of a series of remarkable and so far unexplained designs...
   
...more great rarities - never seen here, Trifari early 40s pave double flower pin clip, with ruby and sapphire centres - Sterling and Pat Pend (but in fact there was no patent) finely made WW2 US Patriotic Victory V Eagle, with red white and blue USA, never here before - never seen before, another member of the 1949-50 Boucher 'Ballet of Jewels' ensemble, a spangled ballerina holding up a pearl, again marked pat pend, but no actual patent - and a rare Boucher reversible, gold one side for day wear, pave on the other for nighttime...
   
...and here's stylish superb and collectible fashion jewelry - late 40s or 50s Haskell triple stranded blue glass necklace, 60s Haskell gold filigree flower garland pendant necklace, sharp gemset 1965 Boucher modernist multicolour pin, and earrings...
