So NOW what???
At last night's board meeting I was asked this question and here is my plan. I will be initiating ZOOM SOCIALS on Tuesday Nights at 6:45, our usual rehearsal time. I will be sending our emails to randomly selected groups of 12 people. They might all be in the same section? They might be grouped by letters of the alphabet or some numerical sequence. Remember that our TAG LINE is:
"CREATING CHORAL COMMUNITY,
ARTISTRY AND EXCELLENCE."
We have been working on the last two the past month or so, but not the first. I know some of you have been getting together via ZOOM and I have called most of you and chatted or left a message. But this will give us a chance to visit and even meet people we DON'T know in the choir. I'm keeping the groups small by design. Too many folks leads to chaos and/or lack of participation.
YOU DON'T NEED TO DO ANYTHING!
Each week (or almost each week) I will create a group (12 folks) on Friday or Saturday and email those people. If you WANT to participate, simply tune in at 6:45 on Tuesday evening. If you don't want to join, just delete the email and go merrily on your way. No harm, no foul, and we CERTAINLY AREN'T taking attendance!
We'll start at 6:45 and I'll probably check out after 20-30 minutes, but YOU can stay in the meeting as long as you like!
Another suggestion at the board meeting was playing games on Zoom. So if you have ideas for that, let me know.

One last comment…Any dues that you have submitted are considered as donations to keep the Chorale financially viable until we can get back together and sing in the manner we would like! I assure you that all members of the 2019-2020 40th season are maintained as members in good standing for this current season regardless of their contributions to the Chorale.
