Make a Plan to Vote

What is your voting plan? With concerns over the pandemic, voting this year is a bit different than in the past. Make sure you, your friends, family, and neighbors all have plans to vote. Visit the Rhode Island Voter Information Center for more information.

  • Vote By Mail - applications to receive a mail-in ballot were due by 4pm Tue, Oct 13. If you got your application in on time, you will receive your ballot by mail. You should complete and mail your ballot immediately upon receipt. You can mail it to the address on the return envelope or return your mail ballot to any mail ballot drop box.
  • Vote Early - if you did not opt to do a mail-in ballot, you can instead vote early at your city or town hall. Review the hours and locations at your city/town's website for more information.
  • Vote at the Polls - be sure to check you polling location before making your plans to vote at the polls on Tuesday, November 3. Voting hours are 7am to 8pm. Make sure you have set aside enough time for lines. Make sure to dress for the weather because lines will be socially distant and may be long enough to be out-of-doors.

Poll Workers Needed

There’s a shortage of poll workers in our state and across the country. Sign up to work the polls to ensure every voice is heard on Election Day.
