PARC awards first Linking Fellowship grant

During its public launch on Sept. 24, the UFV Peace and Reconciliation Centre (PARC) announced that it would be allocating $30,000 to support students, faculty, and community members in leading various projects related to peace and conflict resolution.

PARC awarded its first Linking Fellowship to Dr. Fiona MacDonald, associate professor and head of UFV's Political Science department, on October 7.

“PARC's funding opportunities put resources into the hands of UFV faculty and students, and community intellectuals and artists," says Dr. Keith Carlson, PARC Chair. "[These grants] enable them to design and implement research activities to contribute directly to identifying the roots of conflict and creating pathways to reconciliation."
