18th October 2020
It seems that Autumn is officially upon us as the leaves are turning and days are getting shorter. It is a time to start preparing for the winter, especially for animals and farmers with their harvests.
Last week we celebrated Harvest and thanks goes out to all those that brought in food parcels for ReadiFood. In addition, a special harvest thanks to Sheila and team for so beautifully decorating the lychgate. It was a lovely reminder of all the wonderful foods that we are so lucky to have and enjoy.
He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy
Acts 14: 17

A Service of Remembering
Every year we hold a Service of Remembering giving us an opportunity to remember through Bible readings, prayers, and music, those we have loved and lost, and also to mark what we have been through and are still going through during the pandemic. Names will be read out and candles can be lit in memory.

Our Community: for all those who work in the local doctors surgeries, the local hospitals and for care providers. Pray for wisdom, patience, understanding and kindness.
Our Country: for all those struggling with the effects of the 3 tier restrictions recently put in place, for their mental health and well-being.
|
Those unwell & recovering: for God's healing on all those in pain and suffering, especially for John Keast. Also, for all those anxious about hospital test results; and for those about to start treatment, especially for those starting life-saving treatment.
Those grieving the loss of loved ones especially for the life of Jorge Aguilar-Agon (Salome Laschinger's father).
